Multi-Galaxy Collision Caught in Action
Four galaxies are involved in this pile-up 280 million light years from Earth. The bright spiral galaxy at the center of the image is punching through the cluster at almost two million miles per hour.
Although perhaps it would be very pretty.
Didja' know that our galaxy is going to collide with Andromeda? Well before our sun goes nova and destroys the Earth, we may pass too close to an Andromedean star and get flung to the center of our galaxy, where we might all get sucked into the giant black hole there....

Being a new homeowner, I've been on the receiving end of SO MANY sales spiels, especially security.) I've been actually engaging them to see if it IS something I am interested in. It's either a good deal or I've been worn down.

Hm. I just got a new camera! I was too cheap to shell out for a DSLR (plus, when I'm honest, I don't want a camera body that's as big as the DSLRs), so I obsessively researched the non-DSLR digital cameras, and ended up with the Panasonic Lumix TZ5. It has 10x optical zoom, which blows me away.
My old digital camera had 4x zoom and 5 megapixels, and took decent pictures. But it was fairly old, and the new digital cameras have really good image stabilization, and that combined with the 10x zoom and 9.1 megapixels is going to (I hope) mean really sharp pictures.
