I'm beginning to think your Brothers are the norm and you are the anomaly.
What, only now? Have I not been telling these stories right?
Awwwww. I just got Nigerian inheritance spam. It's been years since one of those made it through my filters. I feel downright nostalgic.
The other day I got Nigerian inheritance spam
in French.
I felt so cool.

It's a classic for a reason.
The kids and I went to a summer movie series--saw Monsters vs. Aliens (third time for both me and Owen) but first time for Olivia. Both kids sat quietly in their seats for the entire movie!
It is a small victory--but taking both kids to a movie theatre where they both behave and we get to enjoy a whole film without incident makes me very, very happy.

How did you do this? Leif has about a 30 minute timer before he starts bouncing off the walls and I mean that literally.
So, I was just looking through our employee handbook here, and apparently you can only get flex time or work from home is if you have kids. Can that possibly be legal?
...I have no idea. It sounds like it shouldn't be, and yet...I suspect it could.

Owen sits rapt for movies. I was worried about Olivia--this was only our second attempt at the theatre. When we took her to see Madagascar 2 last year, she ran up and down the aisles and we left early. But we got free popcorn with the tickets and the addition of a bag of Twizzlers doled out very carefully helped get us to the end this time.

I agree with meara- unfair, but probably legal. I mean most employers pay out more for health insurance for people on a family plan because they pay a percentage of insurance cost. My uni actually used to give everyone the same $$$ amount, and I got my insurance free, but they decided that that was unfair.
Happy birthday sarameg!
I am going to go against the tide and vote conventionally attractive for that young woman. I think to merit the term "unconventional" she needs to have one feature that might be considered unattractive by at least a solid minority of the population.

Seems like there needs to be a generically attractive category.
I'd go with conventionally attractive, too, with the add-on of "very pale and way too skinny". Her eyes nudge her towards unconventional, but I'm hoping it's just the picture that makes them look like corpse eyes.
