"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

According to my sister, Crazy Stripper won't leave. She says she's not letting the baby go, either. Nephew won't leave their car and wants money to fix it so he can bring them home.

They won't answer the hotel phone and they have no cell phone. I want to talk to the idiots to see if I can convince nephew to take the baby and get on a fucking bus (which is less than $300).

unfortunately, I think that you should refuse to send them money.

You may consider talking to the mechanic and pay him/her directly (after receiving an estimate in writing)

If they're not going to answer the phone, how are they going to get the money?

Now tagless for your comfort.

They're supposed to call my sister again tonight about the money. My offers are this: 1) I give my sister the money to go get them. 2) I buy bus tickets for them to come home or 3) I offer to keep the baby for a few weeks until they get an apartment or get back to Indiana on their own.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I think that's more than fair, Cash. I feel for you, for your sister, even them... but especially for the kiddo.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Those are good options, Cash. I hope they can see that.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sounds good, Cashmere.

Perfectly reasonable.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I agree with all those who like the plan, Cashmere, I hope the family drama lessens for you soon.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What a mess, Cashmere. You make a good plan.
