Hi all! I have braved the traffic and crowds thronging outside the MJ memorial to get to work today. Although I have to say, despite the advance press, said traffic and thronging crowds failed to appear. I am glad of it.

I just had to completely lose my shit on my boss. other people have been trying to convince me to take over training, which I've been uncomfortable doing. I agreed to learn the ropes only a "just in case" basis to back up the people doing training. However, they just tried to schedule me for every training session, despite my repeated insistence that I was a fill-in only. Apparently having a fit is the only way to get heard around here.

Irrational peeve about Jackson Coverage(there are plenty of rational ones, of course.) but I flipped past something last night that described *Forest Lawn* as a place "Many celebrities call home," and I thought "Dude, it's not the Ivy." They have ceased to be; they're not having pitch meetings there. I know America is big on death-denial but I thought that was more ridiculous than usual.
