I figure I spent at least 10 hours total yesterday driving, and it was an even longer trip, because I spent a couple hours at my Aunt's in the middle -- but at least I got to visit quietly with my relatives/sit on the beach. After that, though, it was Traffic From Hell time with numerous standstills and useless detours to try to get away from it.
Man, just ascend already.

G's taking his car in for routine maintenance(we have a trip coming up beginning of next month so it would be good to have it in good condition). Tonight is open sing (topic:vehicles). Tomorrow is our traditional 4th of July stuff. (Folklife festival and the show/fireworks at the Capitol)
