Still waiting, but I think his anger is waning. The worst that happened is a recorder got blown very loudly and a napkin got thrown at me- it was thrown with a lot of force, but alas a napkin, so no damage - kinda like screaming FUDGE YOU! At someone.

Oh MY! Yay, Dr. NILLY!! What a TREMENDOUS accomplishment-- you should bask and bask and bask.
Happy Canada Day!
And belle, sorry the boy is being... a boy.
Happy Canada Day to all who celebrate it!
I'm working from home today. Much as I like most of my coworkers, this is a treat.
working from home is just about the best thing ever.
Congratulations to Dr. Nilly! Lovely pictures.
Also, great to see your family (since we've heard stories) and BOYFRIEND!
I cannot believe we missed out on this story! I mean, the one that led to the boyfriend. Also, has Tal posted here? I feel like she's familiar.
Ugh, msbelle, I hope mac gets his act together soon.
I think Tal was the friend who was monitoring the board during Nilly's Stateside journey in order to assess the level of axe-murderousness happening.
Congratulations, Doctor Nilly!
So, this boyfriend...I remember ages ago, when you were showing off the splendid Simpsons head covering you made for a wedding, you mentioning that you had finished it all in a rush, putting the final touches on it while on a second date, but that the date didn't seem to mind and thought it was neat. And I thought, "Huh. Second date. Likes Nilly being just Nilly. Huh." Is this him, or another wise and very fortunate man?
But, holy cow, you're a Doctor of Philosophy! With a lovely loving family and a robe with velvet armbands and a beautiful bilingual certificate and everything! SO AMAZING AND WONDERFUL.

Good one, good one.
Congratulations Dr. Nilly! Yay!!!
