You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Azarenka doesn't grunt, not even a feminine grunt. She squeals. I don't like grunting, but I can get past it. She sounds like an animal in pain.

Art Crawl!!!

I would have to say that I think that there are more women making a noise than men.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen has his new glasses. I think this geek has emerged from his chrysalis and is spreading his nerdy wings in preparation for flight.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Somewhere I read about how annoying many of the women are when they grunt as they hit the ball. Are the women grunting (or screeching) in a more annoying fashion than the men?

I saw an interview with a famous tennis player recently (Seles? Crap, I can't remember) who was saying that part of the point of the grunting is that it disguises the sound of the ball hitting the racquet so that it's harder for the opponent to gauge how hard it's been hit.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Yay for geeky glasses!!

There was a young girl at the bookstore on Saturday who had on the most adorable purple glasses. Combine that with her terrific green hat and multi-colored shirt, she was a vision in bright colors!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Still in line. Woman 2 in front of me has not stopped talking since I got here. I know the ages of her kids, some of their vacation spots, touristy stuff they've done in NYC. Shut it woman.

When I was in line at the post office yesterday, the person ahead of me was sending something to someone with the same name as I was. It was quite a coincidence.

From the AP story.

AP Newsbreak: SC gov 'crossed lines' with women

South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford declared his Argentine mistress his soul mate Tuesday but said he is committed to reconciling with his wife in hopes of saving his family and what is left of his political career.

Sanford, who also admitted meeting his lover more times than he had previously claimed, told The Associated Press in emotional interviews that he "crossed lines" with a handful of other women during 20 years of marriage.

I can't help but think that declaring that your mistress is your soul mate is not the best way to start reconciling with your wife.
