I think we're safe until they master the can opener.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That is exactly why I don't have lever-type doorhandles.

Art Crawl!!!

My cat Tanuki got the door opening concept early on - I'd see her using her front paws to try to turn the knob very often.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

My cats are so stupid that if a door is cracked open an inch, they don't know how to push or pull it open wide enough to squeeze through.

Corn is down, baby pearls are taking one for the team.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh yeah, I did know Eric Balfour's name! I should have been more surprised.... On Shawn Hatosy, I just really loved Outside Providence.

Heee, in clearing out an old box of memorobilia, I found a concert program from the Styx Killroy tour. I worked the Berkely performance as an usher. I remember having a hair flipping contest with my other friends who were ushering. Yes, random.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I LOVE the hair-flipping contest--and at a Styx concert, no less.

My DH is now available for viewing. A friend of his is one of the people chosen to drive the electric Mini Cooper this year, and is blogging about the experience. J was called on to test-drive and give his opinion. You can hear him speaking the auto-journalese I hear on a regular basis. It's a short little video and the car is very cool. [link]

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I think its either a messy ascot or some sort of hip 70s man-scarf style we've all mercifully repressed.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
