Zoe: Uh huh. River, honey? He's putting the hair away now. River: It'll still be there... waiting.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I tried watching The Philanthropist, for the pretty. Oh, so painful. Please to be canceled soon and free James Purefoy. It's worse than watching GA for Kevin McKidd.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Also, because Buffistas know everything -- is 'swathe' pronounced with a short a (ahhh) or a long a (ay)? I just heard a British guy pronounce it with a long a and now I'm worried that I've been mispronouncing it all these years....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The new casino in Emmaus or where ever, Theo? You should totally send your mom with my friend who lives in the area! I know she's already been there...

It's actually pronounced "swat-hee", because there's a fucking "H" in it /Izzard

Because books.

Merriam-Webster shows both pronunciations, Theo, so you're good.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I pronounce it with a short a, but I spell it without the final e.

"Swather" I pronounce with a long a.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I am eating and drinking for free at The Boardroom - not because M is bartending, but because I just revamped the food and takeout menu. This is the most I've gotten paid for graphic design work yet.

I am still laughing at Nunya, who decided to crawl into the pile of laundry on the love seat to get comfy, and then the whole pile collapsed on the floor, with her wrapped neatly inside it.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I knew the answers to the three-part Dune question.

Heh - I was named after the Lady Jessica Atreides. Dune-nerddom is in my blood.

(Shai Halud*, Thumper, Water of Life.)

*Also Shaitan, Maker, Old Man of the Desert

I think this may be a British vs American thing, because I say "swathe" to rhyme with "blah."
