I just got off the phone with Scola and we're now drinking smoothies (strawberry, banana, mango) out of tiki mugs.
JZ is reading Jilli's book. Matilda is playing with Emmett's pirate Playmobils. Emmett is off in the championship game of a tournament (wish him hits).
We got an ice cream thingy from A&W, but were sadly dissatisfied with it. I'm planning to console myself with leftover potato salad in a bit.
I'm working until In Plain Sight comes on. Listening to the thunder rumble. Which is what no doubt prompted my impulse download of The Very Best of Supertramp. How could I have forgotten how iconic some of these songs were.

I have napped almost too much this weekend. If I put head to pillow, I am out. I think it's this weather.
vacuumed and mopped under the bed and managed to knock the lamp and alarm clock over three times.
Please, Mr. Chipmunk, sir, I have sanitized under the bed and I ask that you refrain from taking up residence there, and that you vacate the premises by tomorrow evening, as I will then be in possession of a have-a-heart trap by then.
Crap, I just saw him, almost to the front door, but my glancing at the movement sent him scurrying back for cover.

I did not nap at all this weekend, because last weekend I napped entirely too much, and it screwed up my sleep for a lot of the week.
I miss my naps.

New interior design style: minimum 6" clearance or else no clearance at all from floor on all furniture. I have four bookshelves that go to the floor in the front, but have a two inch gap at the back. Why? WHY?!
Does anyone know how to salvage a wooden floor with chipmunk pee stains? (Thank goodness they're in the closet).
