I would say yes, but it depends on the five year old. I mean, they have desks in school at that age, right?
That Jilli clip is hilarious.

Not too young at all Hil. My daughter would happily draw and read books for an hour or so. But make sure it's something that the 5yo really likes to do. For my daughter I'd bring drawing supplies, for my son I'd bring books and legos.
Here is Franny's answer: i would licke to color in a cooking coloring boook
Wayching last night's Harper's Ferry, and Trish is the dumbest person to ever hold a gun, but I'm still enjoying it.
Twenty minutes sounds really reasonable, Hil.
-t, you're so right. Also, Cal and Chloe! Aw. That was a bummer.
Jeez, police found Billy Mays dead in his home.
I didn't really like him and his irritating ads, but people seriously need to stop dying.
Jeez.
Edit: I didn't realize I was copying you, Dana! That is apparently the only reaction.
It's an epidemic.
Esp. since I think my friend's father may have died. There was an urgent message on her Facebook page from her SiL for her to get in touch. Now her status update says she's off to Cape Cod, where her dad lives. Of course she's been called to his side for his imminent death several times in the past year and he's survived so far, but who knows.
That was a bummer.
It was! But weirdly sweet.
Thanks Burrell-- I was getting a little worried!
Childfree for three hours. Whee
