I heard it in the car on the way home; I was wondering why the Top 40 station was playing "Gonna Be Starting Something," and then the DJs announced it.
I got teary. It's just -- Michael Jackson was the soundtrack to my middle school/junior high years, and even though he had been so weird for so long, it's just surreal to think of him actually being dead.
