'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Fall asleep, no -- pass out, possibly.

I'm surprised more tattoo artists don't have a release they make customers sign before starting work, stating the customer is a) adult b) consenting c) sober and d) aware of the permanence of the work, et cetera.

Of course, they might sell fewer tattoos that way.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Satan uses LPs to control people

Like, records?

Satan is a bit behind the times.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy Birthday Steph!

ION, my work nemesis is going on vacation next year. We just got an email to remind us this, because SHE IS THE ACCOUNTANT AND IT IS THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR and we have to make sure we order everything and deposit everything before she leaves-- actually by tomorrow so she can have end of year reports to her bosses before she leaves.

Coding and Sleeping

Satan is a bit behind the times.

Or he just wants to corrupt snooty audiophiles.

Oh my god.

I know two of the people killed in yesterday's Metro crash. I had supper with them last week and just saw the fellow two nights ago. Worked with the wife on a big project late last year.

What a shock.

Lovely people. At a great place in their lives. Bless both their souls.

Right after, oh, by god, came, oh, their dog! I'll help find him a home if their kids can't take him. Sweet little Westie.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Just in case you're bored and looking for something to read - here's a book review:

John Lennon’s Pact with Satan

A book by Joseph Niezgoda - The Lennon Prophecy, A New Examination of the Death Clues of the Beatles - makes a good case for John Lennon making a pact with Satan in exchange for fame and fortune. The author is a first generation Beatle fan, has read every book out on the rock group, and admits conflict with his love of the music and the evil that he perceives surrounds it. His book – a 15-year project - was an effort, he said, to try to define or make sense of that evil.

In fact, this is the book I was always planning to write about the Beatles. Since I threw out my Beatles albums along with the rest of my rock music many years ago, I’ve been gathering facts about the clues and signs of a Satanic link, evidence of camaraderie with occultists and their dabbling with the occult. Believe me, plenty exists.

There is nothing new in the facts Niezgoda presents – they were all out there. He just brings “the clues” – as he calls them – together to make a convincing case of Lennon’s pact with Satan. I believe it’s a valid thesis, although I would go further and say the other Beatles’ also signed the contract. Throughout the book, he certainly implicates the whole group as linked to the occult.

See, what happened is that at a Beatles performance in 1960, girls screamed and rushed the stage. This had never happened before, but it always happened after this.

So what changed? Obviously, there was a pact with the Devil! Duh!

I know two of the people killed in yesterday's Metro crash. I had supper with them last week and just saw the fellow two nights ago. Worked with the wife on a big project late last year.

Holy shit, bonnie, that's terrible news.

Thanks Sophia. I have such a different view of death than most people but the shock is really making me want to cry. There is no meritocracy in loss, but these really were some lovely people.

A client's 20 year old daughter is dying as well. I'm trying to help the da, but there simply aren't words.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh god, Bonny, that's awful.
