Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, coffee blondies - that sounds interesting. Do you add instant coffee to the dry ingredients?

What angers me is that he didn't notify his office or the Lt. Gov that he'd be gone -- that's his duty, because what if there was any of dozens of kinds of state emergencies that needed doing while he was gone? Granted, no governor has to worry about nuclear launch codes....

The (Call Me) was a reference to a song, not a request to give me a phone call. Not that anyone would have my number since I wouldn't just post on the Internet that my phone number was (481) 615-2342.

This won't help him get the nomination in 2012. Also, he has kids and his wife is fine with him just disappearing without telling her and over Father's Day? WTF? If I did that the locks would be changed by the time I got back.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My guess is "something is very very wrong".

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The recipe I use has both coffee liqueuer and instant coffee/espresso powder added to the sugar and butter mixture after you melt them.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Or else he just decided he needed some quality time with his giant invisible rabbit friend.

Or both.

That tagline (DESICCANT SILICA GEL THROW AWAY "DO NOT EAT") reminds me. Someday when there is a strong wind and I can do it discretely. I need to take a picture of the neighbor's confederate flag. At the bottom it says Rebel "til" Die which, grammar aside, is a bizarre use of quotes.

Compassionately intolerant

Growing up in CA, I knew about blondies but never cared for them much even though I didn't become a fan of chocolate (much less brownies) until my mid 30s.

Regional differences are fun. Unless of course we're talking about moving to the East and discovering, not only traffic circles, but actual roads that go in actually opposite directions depending on the time of day. That last one really freaked me out...for a long time...in a cats and dogs...living together, MASS HYSTERIA sort of way.
