You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh, fun. I'm tempted to break into song from Mamma Mia! now.

I'm guessing Mamma Mia had less of a focus on biblical history, but I could be wrong....

The trip should be great -- I'm just a little nervous about the tour-bus aspect. And room-sharing, but I feel pretty confident that my likely roommate will be looking for alone time as well.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

flea -- Rowe has a classical opera background, and seems to handle Latin (all that church music) fairly well, not to mention Italian music terms. Just one more reason he's way high up on my FCM list.

(FTR, if you put up Rowe, Hugh Dillon, and Antonio Banderas for my personal FCM, I would probably expire of frustration, because each of them has a whole lot going for himself.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is cool.

The Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation

We’ve featured adorable subatomic particles from The Particle Zoo previously at Neatorama. Now they have a new item called the Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation. This cuddly plush toy represents the residual radiation from the Big Bang. The perfect gift for someone who understands what that is -or someone who doesn’t!

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I spent most of this weekend priming some ceilings, painting some walls, and hauling around a happy 7-month-old. I am very tired, but it was fun.

I am now trying to calculate how many calories I have have per day if I want to lose weight. It is a depressing business.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I got it right, I don't think I'm proud of that. It was the He 111Z.

Looks like a conjoined plane.

Kodachrome! Gives me such nice bright colors. Gives me the dream of summers. Makes all the world a sunny day, oh yeah.

Emmett and I are back from the market laden with summer fruit. Raspberries on sale! Peaches, mangos, pineapple, strawberries.

It is time for smoothies and pie, oh yes.

Weird.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh my god you guys, I am seriously about to stab someone here.

Lady Gaga's bra-fireworks only help so much.

“Not dead yet!”

How about Bruno in a pink bodysuit with nipples and a penis?
