I really do like the vertical blinds, which make it so easy to adjust the amount of light that gets through, but sweep so completely out of the way so you can get the view when you want it. My mom's place has them and it's great. If I had an actual View from this house, not to mention big picture windows like she has, I'd have them myself.

Punishingly Intricate
My one cat was being such an asshole last night, he kept waking me up and harassing me. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with his losing weight issue. Or the big changes in the household or what. I want to take him to the vet but have no free evenings this week.
