It was a lonnnnnng winter, babe. And a fairly cool spring. I'm not asking for 100, just a few successive days of high 70s and sunshine.
Yeah, I hear ya, sweetie. It's one of the things I miss most about Ohio-- in terms of the seasons, it was pretty much perfect. No one season lingered excessively over another, so you were really happy to see each one.
I just really, really freakin' hate the two seasons of summer and Ninth Circle of Hell that we have around here.
A cool rainy day is great to stay inside with tea, it's true. Of course, you can't really do that for weeks on end.
I was all geared up for a bunch of shredding, but there's a paper jam in my shredder, and I can't get it out. Bah.
It might be because I was a kid at the time -- I was in seventh and eighth grade -- but I don't remember it being that awful when we lived in Boca. Of course, we were not too far from the beach, either, so we always got the breezes.
I just brought NewCat back from her first vet visit, where she proved her name really should be Parker.
Or maybe Bitchkittenfromhell
eta: I wonder if there is a word in German for that.
DUDE!
Newcat's name is so totally Dita!
Thank you. This has been driving me (and probably most of my friends list too) nuts for weeks now.
been awake since 6am, tried sleeping in, no joy. Also, mid-morning naps nixed by neighbors opening noisy garage door below and their oft-used kitchen door is just across the driveway from my bedroom window.
Raining here (again). Girls are on the papasan spooning and making out. Off to get some Frontline, even though now I really do feel like a nap.
Ooh, cat naming point to billytea.
I remembered I have needle-nose pliers, and have a working shredder again! Hoorah.
