So, a lot of it is stuff I could have gotten at any grocery store (berries, spinach, 1/2 & 1/2, nuts), but I buy it at TJs because the prices are generally better, the quality of the food is generally better, and I'm already there so I might as well grab the blueberries while they're in front of me.
This is how I feel about them. And, mind you, I won't move because I am across the street from Trader Joe's. It's just great food at great prices.
I am eating TJs taquitos right now, AIFG!
My dinner: TJs sushi (lobster roll -- new!), followed by blueberries from TJs, and baked cheese crunchies (my new downfall) from TJs.
Watch me as I whore for TJs.
TJ's has dark-chocolate-covered pretzels.

...stuffed with peanut butter. Nom nom nom.
Oh, and if you like the Amy's brand frozen pizza and burritos, I'm 99% sure that the TJ's brand are just repackaged Amy's, for about half the price.
Money and friends can get really uncomfortable when they're mixed, depending on the friend. I just got back from my book group, and one of the members heads the local Planned Parenthood. They're having a fundraiser, and she asked for contributions in book group. Of course I support the organization, and I want it (and her) to succeed. But I'd much rather get a letter in the mail and take some time to decide what I want to give and when I want to give it.
In less fraught news, I'm now planning on hitting TJs after work tomorrow. I'm thinking I should print out this page of the thread first.
