Sometimes when I'm sitting in class... You know, I'm not thinking about class, 'cause that would never happen. I think about kissing you. And it's like everything stops. It's like, it's like freeze frame. Willow kissage.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

that chick in the red t-shirt played Christina Crawford in Mommie Dearest.

You mean Diana Scarwid, aka the mom on Wonderfalls? And the Mother Superior on Pushing Daisies?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I did not, and am now intrigued. Did Hall write it about Oates?? Oates about Hall?? Is it RL musical slash?? Because if it is, it makes it that much more awesome.

Nope, it's apparently inspired by Hall's then-girlfriend's ex-boyfriend. (Sarah Smile was inspired by the then-girlfriend. I recall they were partnered for a very long time indeed.)

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

so the coat I thought was waterproof, nsm. Myabe it is water "resistant" but on my travels to my appt the water got through it and I am a wee soaked in areas.

as this day progresses, my capacity to deal diminishes.

So I'm going to Madison and then Wisconsin Dells for the weekend. My parents and siblings will all be there - this will be the first time we'll all be together in two or three years.

I haven't seen my parents in a year. My sister saw them on Mothers Day, and she thinks my parents are rapidly deteriorating (physically and mentally). Now I feel bad for not seeing them recently. And I'm sorta' looking forward to and sorta' dreading the weekend....

I hope the trip turns out pleasant for everyone. My mom loves to have all her kids together since it so rarely happens.

Although in my case it's usually when I've accidentally shown a friend's child how to do something they really didn't need to know.

Oh! oh! like a friend teaching our friend's son about putting little firecracker things IN YOUR EYES!

Our wings are not tired.

I hope you find your parents in better shape than expected, Tom. My brother is visiting so mom has 3 of her kids here.

eta: eep! Fireworks in the eyes could be a bad plan.
