We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen and Olivia just drew arrows on their foreheads and told me they are Avatars like Ang.

I'm still laughing.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Owen's is. Liv's is a Sharpie. DH is the one that didn't secure the ordinance this time.

Trust my rage

Ellie drew a superhero mask on her face the other day - which she loved until bath time.

Coding and Sleeping

Too bad that you can't use a magic eraser on kids.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

sara rage

Now I wish I was like Elmer Fudd with a spear and magic helmet, so I could smite those people....

Huge Outburst from a Magnetar

I think magnetars are my new favorite stellar body. I just love the name magnetar (although I wanna read it as maneater, sending me to an annoying Hall and Oats place).

The source for these events was a magnetar, a type of neutron star that is the most highly magnetized object known, with a magnetic field some 10,000 million times stronger than Earth’s. The new magnetar, christened SGR 0501+4516, is of the type known as Soft Gamma-Ray Repeaters (SGR), and is the first such found in the last decade. Magnetars are known for spectacular periods of irregular burst activity, changing their luminosity up to ten orders of magnitude on timescales of just a few milliseconds.

Now I wish I could change my luminosity up to ten orders of magnitude on timescales of just a few milliseconds.

Also, a "Soft Gamma-Ray Repeater" sounds like a deadly Nerf gun that you can buy at ThinkGeek....

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Do we need to send out the laser cats to eliminate them, sara?

This is back, but I think those glass frogs are an evolutionary attempt to avoid dissection.

I had more, but I need to scramble to get ready to leave town now.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

sending me to an annoying Hall and Oats place

There are no annoying Hall and Oates places.
