Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

The evolution critic who says stuff that almost physically hurts is the school board guy in Texas. I've seen video on the Bad Astronomy blog where this dude is quoting Steven Gould to criticize evolution. Yeah, quoting Steven Gould. Dude makes me want to reach through the monitor and shake me while explaining that punctuated equilibrium IS evolution. He also says something about having to stand up to the experts with regard to science. Sure, let's just pull some people off the street to write science textbooks, who needs those experts.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tweed is a good thing?

Layers of it will protect you from arrows.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That would look really nice over a white shirt.

Oh this is awesome...

Haynes Apollo 11 Manual

I could put it next to my Honda Civic and Nissan Sentra Haynes manuals.

Of course, the best car repair manual I've ever owned is...

How to Keep Your Subaru Alive

Wherein I learned much about the workings of those odd 4WD contraptions with what were essentially water cooled VW engines.
