Do you see any goats around? No, because I sacrificed them.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Eep. How unreliable.

Huh. Weird. I see it when I check gmail on the web, but my Mac didn't grab it. Bad Mac. Bad, bad Mac.

Odd.

So I started hearing running water from the back of the house and freaked (I have water issues.) Realized it is next door neighbor out washing his car from a hose coming from the garage. I haven't opened mine since I moved in, should check to see if I do have a faucet in there.

Art Crawl!!!

I had Gran and Obaachan and Ojiichan.

However, Gran was the only one I had any interactions with - my mother's parents were in Japan and I didn't actually meet my Obaachan 'til I was in high school.

I never met either of my grandfathers. So I think of my father's father as Grandfather. (Plus, they are that sort of family, you know?)

Thrive to spite them

Thanks for all the birthday well wishes.

Also my performance review went really well. Just some minor things that I thought. One is I need to be more confident and act more confident about my abilities. I think this review really boosted them. Plus I stated that I would love to have an other long term project to work on so my boss is going to see what he can do to get me involved in a big project coming up. Plus he said he could see me growing with the company.

My grandparents were Grandma Edith and Grandpa Edgar (first names) and Grandpa Jess and Grandma Alma Lee , I don't know why we started calling her with both names. My great grandmother was Grandma Maude and my step great grandma was Miss Mabel.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OMG, this has to be one of the most depressing photos ever: [link]

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I had a Grandma on the one side. On the other, Gammer and Gaffer. The Great-Grands I knew were Grandma Susan (whose real name was Recha; Susan was her idea of a glamorous American movie-star name), and SA (real name: Phyllis. No idea why. And, yes, our SA makes me go "huh".)

To the nephew, my parents are Baba (he was hoping for Papa, but the early pronunciation error stuck) and $firstname (because she declined to be any grandma-nickname).

So, on one side, your grandparents were hobbits?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Do you think he could shoot the wings off, too? [link]

Just slightly taller.
