Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Looks like a frog WILL jump out before it boils. [link] I find this comforting.

frustrated that I cannot find a cap or keychain like I want that uses "Grandad" or "Granddad" and not "Grandpa" - something to think about when choosing your grandparent name: 90% of stuff is grandma and grandpa or grandmother and grandfather.

“Not dead yet!”

My in-laws' first grandkids called them Mimi and Poppy. Mimi I was okay with, but Lewis and I drew the line at Poppy (turns out he didn't much care for it either). So our kids call him Grandpa.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

We called our grandfathers "Grampa."
