We didn't have sex, if that's what you mean. That's all I do now, not have sex.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Gee. What do we have to do to make our worth go *up*?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Donating to Farm Sanctuary gets me on some weird mailing lists. I just got an appeal to donate to a group that provides charitable veterinary care in Morocco. I had no idea such a group existed. They sent me address labels and a notepad.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What do we have to do to make our worth go *up*?

More porn, I'm thinking.

Article about a young Christian woman who decided to wear hijab for a year, to see what it was like. There are just so many problematic things about this. [link]

She insists her decision is not a social experiment but more of a personal learning experience. As a white female from a small, West Texas town, Wall says she wanted to know what it would be like to be part of a “noticeable minority.”

“I’m not representing Muslim women or the Muslim community,” she says. “I just want to know what it’s like to walk in their shoes for a while.”

Always Anti-fascist!

That's lame, imo. Like when people play Gimp for a Day and decide they couldn't possibly manage.(um, not the birthday greetings...)

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Shoot, thought I'd be kind and let the shower go over a little.

Kindness sucks. Kindness gets me walked on.

They haven't even begun leaving, let alone packing and cleaning up. Now, instead of a half an hour, it's gonna be an hour and a half unless they hustle.

I want to nap!

School lunches around the world: [link]

In addition to the differences in the food, what I really noticed was that just about all the US ones have styrofoam trays and plastic forks, and just about all the ones from elsewhere have reusable plates and flatware. Also, apparently children in the US must have potatoes at every meal.
