What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Not only is the title all in ass-caps, but the whole book is as well.

Why the hell is it $135??? Is it printed on divine paper?

Also, check out the picture of the author - she dresses like Robin Hood, complete with tights and feathered cap.

That's not the author. That's a user picture uploaded as a joke. They all are.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Dammit, I need to pay more attention to these things. Or better yet, less attention.

Loki just fell asleep mid-kill. I'd take a picture, but moving might wake him up. His head is parallel and upside down against his belly, his feet are splayed at weird angles and the crochet mouse is tucked between his paw and his head.

My cat is sleeping on my butt.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My cats are nowhere to be found.

But sarameg, you have a basement! I wish I had one. That and a garage would make my place perfect.

“Not dead yet!”

My children are at a Guitar Hero/yay, the school year's over party. I have to go pick them up in a half hour. I wish we had that transporter technology already. Don' wanna drive.

And 78 year old plumbing to give me nightmares!

Yeah, I like having the basement, though I'm not using it well right now. Everything is sort of strewn about down there, cleaning supplies on random shelves, moving boxes and just...random. I did get a set of shelves today and put stuff on it. But it'll be good storage. I do have a garage, which I'm not using because I can't open one of the doors all the way. Another thing on the list is to get an overhead for it, because my car is FILTHY from sitting under the trees out front (discovered they aren't maple: linden.) Seriously, it looks like something is growing on my car. Like lichen. It's gross and makes it hard to see out the back window. I think I may be washing it tomorrow, since I do have a hose out front. Exciting!

It's kinda sad how happy it makes me to have a hose, and a driveway to use it in!

Honey, I was so excited to do laundy in.my.own.house. I think I watched the whole damned first load. And maybe did a dance. Maybe. And to be able to wash my own car? Bliss (if the hose is long enough.) Homeownership has meant I rejoice over the stupidest things, like caulking the tub. I accept how goofy that is.
