Angel: Connor, this is Spike and Illyria. Guys, this is Connor. Connor: Hi. umm...I like your outfit. Illyria: Your body warms. This one is lusting after me. Connor: Oh...no, I--I--it's just that it's the outfit. I guess I've had a thing for older women. Angel: They were supposed to fix that.

I'm going out further, but I am not wrapping around. It would be more expensive and I can always add on later.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hockey: Whoohoo, go Pens! The SO has gone nuts. He will be happy for a long time.

Deck: Yay. I am all in favor of safe. And yeah, decks are super easy to add on to, I believe, so that's probably a good call.

I am just finishing up lessons now (for the summer, yay!) and then I'm going to hustle over to the venue to set up the recording gear for the orchestra today. I am going to be tired.

“Not dead yet!”

Ahhhh kids. Run out and get a bunch folk, they are a riot.

Abby announced to a full restaurant that "Mommy's not with us because she's in Miami getting her nose fixed."

I can't even use the excuse that she was a toddler-- she was eight at the time.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

It's cherry season here, and I am eating a TON of them. So yummy.

Oh, hey. I have a garden of my own now. I could plant watermelon and have them all summer long for free.

(I bought a house since I was here last. Also moved from New Jersey back to Virginia.)

Back home on the farm, when I was a kid, we'd throw the rind and seeds of watermelons when we were done eating them over the back fence. That was all the "planting" we did. They bascially grew wild, and we'd have the biggest, best watermelons.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

We are in central park and it is drizzling. We have already done the zoo. We were hoping to rent boats for the boys to play with, but they are not open, so the boys are playing frisbee on some grass. The boy with are with is a bit ocd as is his mom, of course he chose to come play at the park in one day old WHITE sneakers.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

7 hours done, 4 1/2 to go, possibly five. I've done my nails, gone for a drive to get a sandwich, searched online for vendors of interesting body pillow-cases, done several sweeps of the house and grounds to make sure the wedding and reception is proceeding smoothly, scored a bottle of wine, looked up miscelleneous other stuff on the internet, snagged a plate of dinner and ate it under the cook tent with the waitstaff while it poured around us, and the computer has no speakers. Am bored to tears.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I think I overdid it with the whole feeling healthy thing. My cold pretty much gave up by Thursday, so today I gardened, vacuumed, biked, did dishes, cleaned the tub, and now I really want to go to sleep. As it's just pushing 7 pm here, I'm thinking I should put that off for a couple of hours. But day-um I'm weary.
