If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Maybe Bill O'Reilly secretly wants to gay marry a penguin. Which we'll all be allowed to do once the Gay Marriage Oh Noes comes to pass.

Loki is in serious noodge mode. First, he kept nipping my calves because I wasn't giving him food fast enough. Then he was trying to knock over the food tubs, then bury the cat dishes. Over and over and over and over. He's persistent. It's noisy. I'm sure the neighbors wonder what the hell the clattering is (in burying the dishes, he repeatedly knocks it. On the wood floors.)

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

has anyone yet linked to the meatwad dress?

Also, I'd love a non explicit Boom Boom Pow version too please!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Which we'll all be allowed to do once the Gay Marriage Oh Noes comes to pass.

Not allowed. Required.

The meat dress is seriously clever. And revolting.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

In theory, you could cure the meat (IIRC, it's pastrami) to the toughness of leather, in which case it's not nearly so gross-sounding.

Oh, and I got my globe today! The globe itself is the bronzey metallic shades. Awesome!

sarameg - Jun 11, 2009 1:11:32 pm PDT #23837 of 30000

Which was a nice change of pace for today.

I'm happy to report my godboss seems to be feeling better. I'm hoping it means his prognosis is better. I can tell because I had to answer increasingly more terse emails from him. He is not happy, and I don't blame him.

Ooh, I could sic him on Allyson! He's very good at not accepting any excuses.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, awesome globe.

So not clicking on the meat link.

What else? I am on my coffee break right now, eating hazelnut liquer cheesecake the SO made for the kids yesterday. But we rescheduled with the kids, so now I have a cheesecake and no one else to eat it. Life is so hard.
