I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

always understood it to be that the ants were attracted to the waxy coating of a peony bud (must be sweet) and in eating the wax, allow the bud to be released and open.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, peonies! They were among the flowers I didn't quite get in the ground last season. But this season for sures!

I don't remember what song was my first slow dance, but I definitely remember what boy. It was my smart buddy (who also happened to be athletic and popular, for whatever reason at that school the smart kids didn't get alienated) and my awesome girlfriend was all, "Hey, you're not going out with anyone, right? And she's not going out with anyone, so why don't you dance?" Neither of us would have done so otherwise. Not that sweet sweet romance ensued or anything, but it was a nice moment. Then he started dating the girl who he would continue to date through all of middle school and high school and....facebook tells me did not marry. Huh.

I was considering Kermit, but I also like Marvin! Or maybe Oscar the Grouch.

Now tagless for your comfort.

When I worked in the flower shop, we used to use peonies and had to shake the ants off of them before using the blossoms. Hated that part.

I say pee-UH-nee.

I am so sick of this cold, grey weather! I want it sunny and in the 70s or I'm going to flip out like a mammal soon.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Why are so many of my high school classmates using their wedding pictures as their facebook icons? They're in their thirties and from a small town, wouldn't most of them have gotten married a decade ago? Is it the only good picture of themselves they have?

That and Grand Canyon photos. I keep thinking they're near me, but no, it must be just family vacation photos.

We're having awesome cold grey weather! It refilled our rain barrels and everything, whoo.

Does it come with sex pollen? Isn't your iPod named Tim? That could lead to some embarrassing situations.
