Radio report: The security guard shot at the Holocaust Museum has died.
Oh, that poor man. And his poor family. And the nutjob who shot him was 89 years old? There's a crazy fucked-up story behind this one, for sure.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Fucking Tom Metzger and his lone wolf, small cell activism bullshit terrorists assholes.
It's a slow day (for me at least). How about playing playlist shuffle? Shuffle your playlist (if you have one on something) and report the first five items.
I ended up with:
Disarm by The Smashing Pumpkins
It's True that We Love One Another by The White Stripes
Stranger Things Have Happened by The Foo Fighters
Mother Earth by Within Temptation
Nemo by Nightwish
I've checked into filtering fluoride out of water. It seems that it's so difficult and expensive to do so, that no countertop filter will do it. You have to install a whole-house water supply filteration system specifically for that purpose, because most whole-house filters don't do it either.
Playlist shuffle:
Think- Aretha Franklin
Head in the Air- The Corrs
When You Wish Upon a Star- Billy Joel
Virtual Forest- Deep Forest & Eric Mouquet
Can't Imagine Love Without You- Stevie Wonder
playlist shuffle:
Abacab by Genesis
Falcon in the Dive from The Scarlet Pimpernel soundtrack
Radar Love by Golden Earring
Secondhand Love off the White City album by Pete Townshend
11th Hour by Redbone
edited to fix effed up formatting
My mp3 player doesn't do shuffle, but the alphabetical list of songs I'm in the middle of has this for my next five songs:
"Jericho" by Johnny Clegg and Savuka
"Jesus Was a Man" by INXS
"John the Revalator" by John Mellencamp
"Join Together" by The Who
"Joliet Bound" by John Mellencamp (hometown shoutout!!)
I learned that a coworker has a peacock. It's a very large peacock. It hangs out with her farmcats.
Current from what's loaded on the iTouch:
The iPod that I have with me has 14000 or so songs on it.
Currently playing the Stones' "Stupid Girl" from Aftermath. (I'm playing the whole album, not a playlist.)
