My landlord is a member of several mountain man groups, and yesterday a catalog came to the house from Smoke and Fire Company Online. I mention this because there are several patterns available through them for late 17th century through mid 18th century clothes that clever folk might be interested in for gothy or whatever purposes.

is their home page, and the top one here [link]
struck me as something that could be very niftily interpreted in a goth fashion (War of 1812 men's uniform jacket and pants).
For what it's worth.
Retroactive luck, ita.
Another long day. Tomorrow starts early and I've GOT to go to Home Despot tonight. Even if I don't do the blinds picking out. Friday is totally up in the air as the electricians are coming in the morning and I have no idea how long that'll take.
Got my new address labels today!
I had to give up on giving blood, since they always have such a hard time finding my veins.
I've got some great veins, but giving blood for me is out for the low blood count reasons. Yesterday an email came from the PTO at Abby's school, asking parents to talk up the blood drive and please, come donate! and I joked to Lewis, "Wonder if they'll let me make a withdrawal?"
And now the awkward segue into asking for some good test ~ma-- after seeing the new GP today, he basically said, "Yeah, hematologist for you, missy!" and promptly made me an appointment for tomorrow morning. Words like blood marrow were thrown around and I'm trying not to freak out. He's pretty much convinced it's just a standard anemia and that I'm slow recovering from the surgery and the fact that I was walking around with a ridiculous blood count for such a long time, but he just wants to make sure.
Am I being a wuss if I say I'm a little scared?
Eek. Good test ~ma to you, Barb.
Yikes, Barb -- although if you already had low blood count situations, I can see where surgery would hit you especially hard.
Does it make me old if my response to this picture is "OMG CUT YOUR HAIR"?
I was just social with work people, for 15 whole minutes!
Okay, maybe 10 minutes.
Barb, lots of good test ~ma.

I think yes. But COME ON.
