Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Coding and Sleeping

You might want to white font that last part with a note that Dana shouldn't read it.

There's a really tasty piece of cake waiting for you after you go grocery shopping.

Secret Message for everyone except Dana: The cake is a lie

I have this urge to go to the grocery store. even though I am pretty sure I should be thinking about leaving for work in a hour ( or less)

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

ASSKICKCAPS?

Is it wrong that my primary reaction to this article about a potentially more efficient incandescent lightbulb is that the discovery was made by one hawt professor of optics? Maybe it's just a well-lit photo.

French Open:

Seriously, no one even thinks she's going to win a game. It's looking like 6-0, 6-0.

given recent images/video posted here that people find attractiive are not registering at all with me, I feel I have lost my ability to find things attractive, or at least other humans. sadly, I am not sure that's a bad thing. simplifying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The optics guy makes me smile.

Dana--my mother hates her and must be so excited. I, on the other hand, prefer her so much to Kournikova (not that you have to pick one, but my brain does that--like with Hewitt and Roddick) that I root for her. And I'm a sucker for a comeback story.

msbelle, surely something on bestof.provocateuse.com triggers you? Maybe you're just out of synch with the zeitgeist. I can't explain my delight at the ZQ video (still thinking of it) or the Daniel Craig popsicle Vortex linked to in Bitches. They just hit a good nerve.

I have just under two hours until my phone interview for job #1. I'm surprised at how fast my heart is going. I really need to calm down. Perhaps a blathery LJ post or something.

I am home sick. I am coughing and there is gunk in my lungs. Yay.

OTOH, that allows me to catch up on Primeval...

Daniel Craig has never pinged me. I am sure I can find something, also pretty sure work is not the place I should do that search.
