It's a real burden being right so often.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm pretty grumpy too.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Where is everyone?

On a voyage... of discovery! I've just this week found out that babytea is able to feed while still asleep. He's multitasking! I must update his resumé.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Trying to figure out who broke my coffee.

hip deep in pie

I was in a staff meeting...without having had any coffee. It was horrible.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Headachey. Which I need to get over.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I am so grumpy my boss asked me why I was being so argumentative! Oops!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I went out for breakfast. The place I went to has incredibly weak coffee. Once at work I was still feeling tired and depressed, so I went to McDonnalds for more coffee.

Did I mention that the cool leftist coffee shop a block away closed? Their business was down from the recession, and the owner had breast and lung cancer. Sad.

Coding and Sleeping

I looking at a very slow day. I am going to probably not do a lot today and keep thinking that I could be at home writing. Beats being super stressed though.

The kids started summer school today so my wife will be happy. I'm trying to convince the kids to try out the school lunches which are free during the summer. They don't want to miss the opportunity to have a free lunch. Maybe I'll have to explain to them "This is free lunch - you think this happens every day? "

I just sent an email to my boss with the subject line "holiday sql".

Those words don't belong together.

Punishingly Intricate

Talking to my DH, who is in Maryland for a job interview. Wheee!

WHEEE!!!!

I'm looking into places to stay near Fallingwater. We're planning to stop by there on the way back from driving Bob's car from Chicago to here (with a stopover in Detroit to see the Gories and the Oblivians!) at the end of the month. I just shocked him by saying that I would consider camping. IF there is a real terlet for me to use. I have my limits.
