oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

about a 1: 40 in -- there are audio versions of creaky voice. I sometimes do -- but mostly in the am or if allergies are bad.

I love my Saturns, but not so sure the future is good or them.

ita, an answer to the 'weakness question' that isn't an answer. I find that my weakness varies from job to job -- in physically demanding jobs it is my endurance, in jobs where I am am multitasking my tolerance for meetings and stupid question goes down, In chaotic environments my need for a serene space increases -- iow, overwhelm with the obvious. Or you can just say the other cocky answer -- if I do my job properly, you won't know.

Love the vid , Jilli

and now off to vote for Allyson

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Barb-- you need to eat for the sake of all your wimpy little blood cells.

gives stern look.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, beth. Creaky voicing is weird and makes my throat hurt thinking about doing it.

your welcome, ita. and I think that is my mornng voice. It is oddly low effort.

Allyson, I talked a lot about your new book this weekend . there was a bat lecture at the place we stayed this weekend. Didn't make it to the lecture, but I talked bats with people.

Dinner is Chinese -- or it will be around 5ish.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

(CNN) -- An Arkansas man was arrested Monday in connection with a shooting at a Little Rock military recruiting center that killed one soldier and wounded another, authorities said.

Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad -- a 24-year-old Little Rock resident formerly known as Carlos Bledsoe -- faces a first-degree murder charge and 15 counts of engaging in a terrorist act, Little Rock Police Chief Stuart Thomas said. The terrorist counts stem from the shots fired at an occupied building.

(CNN) -- A 51-year-old man was in a Kansas jail Monday, held on suspicion of first-degree murder in the killing of a physician whose women's clinic frequently took center stage in the debate over abortion, authorities said. Dr. George Tiller was one of the few U.S. physicians who performed late-term abortions.

Scott Roeder, 51, from the Kansas City, Kansas, area is being held without bond in the Sedgwick County Adult Detention Facility, according to the sheriff's office Web site. In addition to the murder charge, he also faces two counts of aggravated assault. Police said they believe he acted alone.

Why is there no terrorism charge in the Tiller case? This anti-abortion approach is all about changing behavior by instilling fear. How is that not terrorism?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Don't get me started. I just went to a pro-choice rally in honor of Dr. Tiller. Good political turnout, including my councilmember. And I got interviewed on video for the NYTimes!

My voice very easily does that.

Oh! I should be able to do laundry in my own house this weekend! I will have washer and dryer outlets and a line going to an outside box where I can plug in outside lights and eventually run a line up to the deck to have and outlet/fixture out there. The latter upped the cost, but it's a safety thing. Plus I'd be doing it eventually.

That's good food , Barb. Protien, fat and carbs. Add a few carrot sticks -- and it is pretty perfect.

I am wondering when my dinner really will be -- DH found a book while we were on vacation. I read the first 22 pages and handed it back to DH - threatening to steal it if he didn't hide it from me. He is about 3/4 of the way thru it right now --- I don't see him putting it down with out a struggle in 15 minutes.

Also, if the guy who comes to do the electrical estimate is named Mel Katz and is in his mid to late 50s, be careful not to address your elderly cat as Old Man Cat. It'll get you a startled look. (He was really sweet, giving me all sorts of advice and telling me about his mother, who spelled her name the same way I do, and showed me pictures of his grandkids.)

He also ensured I'd remember his name by saying "You're probably too young to remember Alice..." and I was all Mel's Diner! Of course! He had a similar accents, too.
