Wesley: We were fighting on opposite sides, but it was the same war. Fred: but you hated her…didn't you? Wesley: It's not always about holding hands.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Caramba!

Heh. I just talked to my Aunt Edna to let her know Emmett and I were coming to Georgia and when I was getting off the phone I said, "I love you." And she replied, "I love you more!"

It's good to have a sweet Aunt Edna in the family.

Is that your number? Should I call mac and talk about Teen Titans and baseball? Does he still like Teen Titans and baseball?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

mac has a toll-free number? Wow, he's really learnt his way around the phone system.

It is not our #. It is optimum online - the savings are for real, the triple something is the deal.

It is an awful commercial that he tortures me by singing the phone number.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The awful commercial.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Dylan had his first swimming class today!

We did classes last summer and just have restarted this summer.

a calm but constant request to "stand up now?" No crying, no screaming. 30 minutes was exactly the right amount of time, though - I think any longer and we would have seen some tears.

Noah did much better last year when he couldn't talk. Or it was less traumatizing for me. We get lots of "done now. out." But when we do the jumps from the wall, he LOVE those.

Oh crap. I went to IKEA and found blinds, but I grabbed the wrong boxes, they are too short. After I go get the catbox, I'll go back. Good news is I'm a lot closer to the IKEA now....

Loki is such an affectionate cat. I feel bad that the others don't get as much attention, but he's always climbing into my lap and all over me and giving love bites. Mister Kitty was like this when he was younger (though he didn't flop as much) and Devi is just much more standoffish.

Because books.

Hey, sarameg, when you have time, would you be up for emailing me about the towns/suburbs *north* of Baltimore, if you know anything about them? Profile address is good.

And I know you're really busy, so if not, no problem!
