You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

Ohhh puppy! The kids and I want a puppy but since we are living with/caring for my MiL we can't have anything that would trip her. Man it is at the top of the list!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I want a puppy too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Luckily the two companies I may interview for are really easy to read up on. And I kinda knew about both of them beforehand anyway.

I need to beef up on the subject matter.

“Not dead yet!”

Oh, ACK-- the stupid, it BURNS...

While I agree that authors don’t ‘owe’ readers anything, I think authors ought to be doing their darnedest to deliver the goods the best they can in the most timely manner possible and with a smile on their faces and gratitude in their hearts that readers actually want to spend their hard-earned money on their books, that they love those stories so much that they’re upset when someone insults them and can’t wait for the next book to come out. And a fan re-writing a book, this is the height of flattery! Remember, *readers pay the bills.* It’s in the authors’ own best interests to at least present an extremely grateful attitude.

Today has been quite a DAY.

I'm going to go have a salad and then I have to get dressed up and go to prom. Yes. Prom.

eta and yesterday I had cheerleading tryouts. I'm regressing.
