Hugging a friend hello may be casual, but it isn't random either. I still hug my friends (well, the ones who want to be hugged. I do try to respect people's personal space.)

Nope, all that is canon, IIRC. I miss Angel. (If all my DVDs weren't back in London, it would definitely be time for season 2.)
