I'm still getting used to not having periods, but having occasional mood swings. There's no real rhyme or reason to them yet, so it's... interesting.

I don't know that I've ever been strictly regular, but I've never really tracked it to find out. Roughly 28 sounds about right. I can always tell it's coming a couple of days ahead - not PMS or cramps but just sort of a rumbly feeling - so it was never really an issue. Less would certainly be more in this arena, though.
I have a long cycle, but very heavy bleeding and cramps for a few days before it starts. I'd take closer together and less painful, no matter how much weight I gained, as long as I was still mobile and able to find clothes.
Since I got the Mirena, I have no period, and haven't had one for a couple of years, and it is TEH AWESOME. Like Cashmere, I will be sad when I have to have it yanked. I haven't bought tampons or maxipads in years. YEARS.
I hated the Mirena with the heat of a thousand suns. It made my periods and cramps worse. Couldn't get it out fast enough.
With diabetes, I can get away with reasonable amounts of whole wheat pasta, and double fiber bread without needing insulin. Fiber, and complex carbs
Before my thyroid deccided to get whacky, I was 28 days like clockwork. Which made it nice for predicting ovulation. Then the thyroid crapped out and I would be at 23 days, 28 days, 35 days. And when you are trying to get pregnant and your period shows up a full week late? Not fun.
Allyson!! I was *just* wondering about you and how you were doing! Like, doing a threadsuck for your name to see if I missed something! How are you?
I am alive! Back at JPL, pretty much done with the spit shine on the bat book before sending it off to Agent Kate, and starting to dip my toes back into the social scenery.
