Portland pictures are very scant due to me being sick most of the time, but here's the best of the small batch:
We flew up Saturday and missed naptime. Matilda played ball in the backyard with her uncle and scampered around enjoying all the space while I lolled around being sick. On Sunday she was lethally adorable. On Monday morning she was in a Mood and I was feeling slightly better. We wandered the neighborhood exploring ecohome exhibits and collecting pinecones. There was a playground visit, fun with pipecleaners, watercolors, and yummy drinks. Matilda also watered vegetables, personified unflappable supervillainy, and teeter-tottered (with assistance). And then we came home. The end.
Matilda just gets cuter.
My name is all americanized, but I want to change it back, now! Unfortunately, I don't think I know how to say it correctly, really.
This is me. Also, I think I supposed to use a feminine ending.
Great house, -d. Unfortunately, you have the bathroom tile I have had, in various shades, in all three houses I've owned. I'm pretty sure you have the exact pinkish-beige-brown I have now, and pink so does not work with it. There's no match in brown towel world that does not clash. Reds bring out the pink, and not in a good way. Through 20 years of trying different colors, I've found the only possibilities are black, white, teal and shades of dark blue. I've ended up with teal, which has been difficult at times, because my towels would start looking tatty just when teal was so out that a teal towel could not be found on the planet.
yay for new house, d!
If Matilda ever needs glasses they must be cat eye shaped
I especially like the lethally adorable and watering pictures. Very cute!
Steph - the problem is him leaving the room without permission. and doing so at high speed so it is hard to catch. Once he left the building.
ugh - sorry y'all. nevermind.
Oh, that sounds incredibly stressful to deal with.

Oh, yikes. Harder to deal with than just "Walk instead of run!", huh?
Interesting tidbit about Sotomayor in the NYTimes profile.
When she was a litigation Partner in Manhattan one of her clients was Fendi and she actively tracked down counterfeiters, including going onsite to seize counterfeit shipments.
In one instance, the counterfeiters fled and she jumped on a motorcycle and pursued them. This is when she was a Partner! Not just a zealous young prosecutor.
