You're talking to Serenity. And, Early... Serenity is very unhappy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The Neyoricans are gonna rise up and lip purse/eyebrow raise/neck wag/poetry slam the country into submission.

There was ALREADY a poetry slam (I mean, jam) at the WHITE HOUSE, and she's not even confirmed yet!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I know. My name is all americanized, but I want to change it back, now! Unfortunately, I don't think I know how to say it correctly, really.

When I go to the doctor this afternoon, I need to ask if he can test for strep throat. Bah.

But first, I shall have sushi.

The French wouldn't be too bad, Hec manages. Growing up, I don't think I ever heard anyone, including my father, pronounce my mom's name correctly.

The Polish would be the real sticking point. When I was in academia I thought about insisting on it, but I lived for too long with it the "American" way.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am suddenly very proud I have not Americanized my name.

Tino must have decided to give me a pass for the day, because things are working out better for me today. Perkins seems pretty much back to normal, and the vet said she didn't see any reason why Jezzie Sophie couldn't come back in a couple of weeks.

Your name is already Americanized! I mean, isn't it German?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

But we pronounce it the German way.
