The cake is indeed chocolate. I'd rather have made a raspberry lemon layer cake, but that is not the popular choice. Instead it is just plain chocolate and it's not even layered. OTOH, easy.

It's got eggs... milk... it's healthy, right?
update - my boss has been ranting now for over an hour on 2 issues. He has had audience with 3 different people to re-hash the rants. loud enough for many of us to hear through closed doors. seriously.
I have all the gronk in the world today.
Nuh-uh. Because I have some of the gronk
Count me in on the gronk. Am plumb tuckered. Would like coffee. And chocolate cake.
oh and forgot my Tino rant.
Tino somehow talked my cat Oz into peeing on some papers on my floor today - soem of those papers I need/want to keep. F*&*in Tino.
Then Tino made me trip, I narrowly avoided a faceplant on the sidewalk, but did manage to stub a toe on my left foot pretty badly and wrench my right leg so that it pings now. FU TINO.

IHappierN - I am halfway through a paper pile on my desk. Also? I got a big reimbursement check in the mail last night. Also also? I think all the paperwork is ready to finally finally submit papers to the court to start mac's official name change and re-adoption (what allows us to get a US Certificate of Citizenship and then a Passport).
My cat Oz is acting up too. He's not happy with his new diet, so he's stealing food from Clio, trying to eat every vauguely edible thing in sight and constantly on the counter/sink/cupboards. Last night, he tried to eat a page form a cookbook. Also, he's mad at me and completely rebuffing me every time I engage him. Maybe it's an Oz conspiracy.
I feel like I named our cat wrong now.
Spare Cat has been steadily trying to get out of the Elizabethan collar for a solid hour now. On the bright side, her staple is holding.
Since I couldn't pill her successfully, the vet suggested trying her on an injectable antibiotic that time-releases over the course of a week. Which cuts down on the trauma for her and me. It's $30 vs a couple of dollars for regular old pills, but it seems like money well spent.
It's like a jungle sometimes, it makes me wonder how I keep from going under.
That is all.
