hee. I still have such fond memories of seeing some friends do "Poison" in drag, and two of them were big muscley types, my little teeny femmey friend was all thugged out in a hat next to them, and suddenly she popped up with the "used to do her" line. Hee. The image still cracks me up.
I saw that! That's the only drag king act I remember seeing with you.
I am loving the rap discussion, although I too find I don't know about half the songs mentioned. oh well. My bro made me a bunch of great CDs, but every so often one of the songs is WAY inappropriate for the kids. oops.
I just recolored my hair. I'm back to brown, but still short. But it turns out red hair is a younger woman's game. My skin no longer favors it.
Also? I LOVE those bento boxes. Now I want someone to pack me a nice lunch tomorrow.
I know very little rap (most of which I think I know is actually disco/dance music) but honestly, I think my life is complete anyway.
(Although, it strikes me that DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince had a few hits that would qualify for msbelle's needs.)
Weirdly, when I was in high school, a friend's mom pointed out to us that brown eyes were actually less common (don't know if this is true)
OK, maybe it was true in your neighborhood, but you know it's crap in general, right?
ETA: I wish Jesse was here.
I wish I were there too!
I still do not know any of the M.I.A. stuff.
I have "Galang" if you want it.
I have all the gronk in the world today.
I would like to return it now, please.
I'm psyched that Pushing Daisies popped up on my Tivo listings for this week.
It turned up on my DVR as well! Yay!
I have all the gronk in the world today.
Nuh-uh. Because I have some of the gronk.
Unless we're sharing gronk, via some space-time gronk wormhole....
