Every planet has its own weird customs. About a year before we met, I spent six weeks on a moon where the principal form of recreation was juggling geese. My hand to God. Baby geese. Goslings. They were juggled.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If that gets too newsy, I'll hunt you down, Tom. I have an allergy.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The show used to be more sciency in the past, now it's more artsy, although she still has scientists on quite often.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I haven't had anything bad or expensive happen yet, so I think Tuesday is a win in my book.

So far, at least.

I agree with the mouseover text....

Coding and Sleeping

I remember the pep rally that they actually mentioned the math club and our competitions. Ones of people cheered.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It looks like Spare Cat has a kitty skin absess burst open on her hip -- it's about the size of a nickel, and I'm sure it's hurting a lot less than it looks. Still, since she's a loaner, I'd better take her to the vet. :-(

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, poor kitty!! I hope she's better soon (and it won't cost too much at the vet).

My cat has taken to doing something rather cute lately--I got her some new belled knitted caterpillar-like toys for her to bat around the apartment. The only time I see that she's played with them is when her food dish is empty--she puts one of them in the empty dish.

“Not dead yet!”

Jack-Jack has taken to sitting on my writing desk, which is located directly behind my computer desk. (My chair in between the two.)

It's mildly disconcerting to think of the cat, perched right behind me, watching my every move. I almost feel like my mother is hovering behind me, watching me write the smutty scenes in my books.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

So, is the Tuesday after a three-day weekend worse than a typical Monday? or not?

I almost always like having the short week after a long weekend better than the actual weekend. But this week at work is the week from hell, so we'll see.

Because books.

My Tuesday started with cinnamon toast and French copies of my last book, which is fun.

It sort of feels like after seven years of French (and knowing what I wrote), I should be able to read the thing, but not so much.
