cats are in and Ply is molesting my shoes. Nunya is flopping all over the carpet everytime I walk past her. She only lets me touch her belly once, but she wants it touched everytime I move. But just one belly rub at a time.

The new iMovie does suck but Dylan is also very cute. And big.

Even funnier is one of the triangle shelves looks crooked to me. But the level insists that it and the moulding next to it are level. Must be the angle or something.

Trying to figure out what to do with the big wallspace above the tv. I don't have anything really to go there and it is kinda blank. I've got another big wall in the front room. I'm thinking I want to get a large world map to go there eventually. A NICE oldy looking world map.

(I actually need to get the giraffe batik mounted to protect it. It can't be washed and dusting it with compressed air and wiping is a pain because it is so waxy.)

sara, I'm the world's worst at putting a bunch of smaller framed things and other objects together to occupy larger wall space. You might do something similar, rather than getting a huge single picture.

Above the tv, I want to put as few holes as possible: it's the patterned plaster. I actually like the whole bunch of little stuff thing and will probably do that on the stairwell. I'm a little forced into symmetry in this middle room, what with the mouldings.

I ended up decorating the space above my tv with lots of round mirrors radiating out from a sunburst mirror (the living room is currently filled with curves and round furniture, although I'm giving the roundish L-shaped sectional to an out-of-work friend and getting a loveseat from a coworker).

Now that I have the freedom to paint whatever the heck I want in the new apartment, I might paint a stylized tree on a wall I know will be blank. Something contemporary.
