Kick ass, Cashmere. Just enjoy knowing what a miserable day he is having today while the rest of the world rejoices.
Hey Allyson! I like the change. You look all familiar.
We plugged in the tv at the office, but I am trying to get out of here and home to big tv.
Oh, my god, it's still dark outside, and I'm in a teleconference. And not even sure that the twenty other people know I'm here.
Okay, I had to check in, so at least they know I'm up at 6 freaking 30.
Happy Obama Day everyone!
I came into work and turned on CNN.
I can't believe the crowds either - -wow!
Happy US Presidential Inauguration Day! I'm watching things on MSNBC. Someone just said, "There's less fear now." Well, sure. Darth Cheney will never officially be president, now. I feel better about the world already.
Toast and coffee: Michelle Obama brought Laura Bush a present. How classy! (Especially considering the whole Blair House nonsense.)
Ah, Peaceful Regime Change Day, how I have longed for you... welcome.
Oh, Cash, that's a crap thing to happen, and I hope you can shake it off and reclaim your happy soon.
I turned the TV on just in time to see them entering the White House. Yeah, so, going to be a happy, weeping mess today.
Oh man, the choir is giving me flashbacks to elementary school! We sang that EXACT arrangement of "That's When We'll Be Free" (and I had gone on to middle school, but my sister sang in that choir at the Clinton inaugural).
I decided not to go down to the Mall. It's just way too crowded, and I know that I won't be able to see anything anyway.
I liked Michelle's sort of awkward "Whose hand do I shake first?" move. They just seem like such normal people.
