You all gonna be here when I wake up?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The Washington Post is already reporting huge crowds at the Mall, and backed-up Metro stations everywhere. Good luck, sara!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, sara!

Sounds like she'll need it!

I woke up at 5-something and realized I hadn't turned my alarm clock back on yesterday after the holiday, so I did that, so that's good.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Shrift/aurelia, Wednesday works for me too.

Our wings are not tired.

If I lived close to DC I could see trying it, but it is going to be comfy here in the lazy boy with feet up and snacks. It is incredible how many people are already on the mall.

I'm burning the downloaded concert to DVD because the rest of the family didn't see it. It just passed the Garth Brooks segment. He really did rock the house.

Better get to the office so I can cut out early. Watching Morning Joe and already got misty eyed a couple times. Mushball here.

Trust my rage

This is me! I'm listening to NPR and watching CNN (muted) with my laptop and I'm doing legal research during the down moments. Snacks will be out shortly!

Colin Powell is a big old mushball too.

On Cheney, I can't wish the kind of pulled back muscle that puts you in a wheelchair on anyone, but I just want him wheeled out of town and may I never see his sneer again. The joy of this era finally being over matches my joy of seeing this new era arriving.

sarameg and Taylor have been here and gone . . . if they were able to get on a train they should just about be arriving at Union Station.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I just want him wheeled out of town and may I never see his sneer again.

Huh. I only just realized. He's fully transformed into Mr. Potter.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Despite being in Metro distance, I am going to watch the proceedings on tv. (The combination of the weather and the fact that G is out of town led to this decision)
