Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

And oh yeah,

The team named after animals wins handily.

In this case, neither one! Kinda.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My living room before the present one was a color close to that. I liked it quite a lot.

Cute new kitty! The lighting really changes her look, doesn't it? Neat. I could see her being a Sophie.

The place with the gumbo I like in San Jose flies in Leidenheimer's bread for their po'boys. I wouldn't have thought I would care about that, but it does make a difference.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If I indeed have an interview coming up, should I go in with my hair freshly shorn? It's kind of nothing right now, just a uniform ~1cm length. I'd be cutting it to 3mm. I feel more polished that way. But I do get that it's a bit...alternate. But that's my normal haircut when I'm putting any effort into my appearance.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It's kind of a tradeoff on: (1) What makes ita most confident and feeling pulled together; and (2) What's most comforting and normative to the interviewer.

In an interview situation (with going-back-Jamaica-to-live-with-my-parents as one of the potential negative results) I'd opt for (2).

Maybe I could bleach it again? I think I have the supplies under my sink.

I just don't feel pulled together with this hair. It feels indicative of sloth.

But your point is well taken.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Bleaching could be a good compromise for you.

When you look in the mirror you'll feel like you.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I say bleach it, ita. I think you look great with blonde hair, and I don't think the length would matter.

Cute kitty, Perkins. I think you should call her Tickybox because it would make me laugh, but Sophie is good too. Franny's best friend is Sophie. It's a good name.

I'm watching an old 30 Rock and now I want Comanaproxil.

I don't want to wake up to npr disaster coverage. Good wishes to my astronauts.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Taco Bell has wee, luchador thumb wrestlers in their kids meals! I just have to figure out how to get them away from the kids.

Dios mio! I see a Taco Bell trip in my future.

Neighbor made margaritas for the backyard earlier and now I have a headache. Shouldn't have had one on an empty stomach.

(And Dylan threw up in bed again. Too much sun & cheese puffs today!)

Perhaps he snuck a margarita. How to tell: was he doing the Mexican hat dance, or any other stereotyped activity?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Burrell is getting ready for some sleep crime!
