Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Had game night at megan walker's house with Scola and Perkins (and JZ and Matilda).

During Taboo we were once again able to use the Buffista-only clue: "Actress that Theo hates!" to immediate success.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just got approached for one of my old jobs--the one far away. Except as a contractor. I don't know how to work as a contractor. I get the putting away for taxes thing, but health insurance? How screwed would I be?

Ah, well. They have to want me first. I'm not in love with the idea, but I need work.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Had game night at megan walker's house with Scola and Perkins (and JZ and Matilda).

Details! What did you play?

Apparently, Taboo!

That is a great clue!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Details! What did you play?

We only played two games, one of which was Tabboo. Which was very fun. It was JZ and megan vs. me and Scola. Scola and I took an early lead, but squandered it as I used the forbidden "Julia Roberts" clue to describe Richard Gere.

And the other game was...I don't remember the name. Wit and Wager? Something like that. A question was asked that had a numerical answer. You had a thirty second timer to write down the number and place it on the board. Then everybody would bet on which answer was right. The answers were arrayed high to low with odds based on that. So you could get a higher payout if you bet on your own answer and it was an outlier.

Scola crushed us with his mathical brain. Though I did have better answers for the sports record questions.

Aw, but I wouldn't know the answer! What actor does Theo hate?

A clear indicator that Julia Roberts' career is in decline since Theo has not had to flash her scorn lately.

Yet another piece of Buffisa trivia to add to the collection.

I am enjoying Garth Brooks, but I am really enjoying the youngsters behind him all in red and blue - they're having so much fun! And are adorable.
