I would like tostones as well, and am also regretting not getting the plantain chips at the restaurant I went to yesterday for lunch.

My mom's going to be fine--she's in the hospital for another day or two to treat a rather serious kidney infection but they're getting her blood pressure back up and keeping her sugar steady. Some IV antibiotics and fluids are helping the infection.
