Oooh -- I didn't check Beep Me before I started reading this morning, so I'm guessing that Sparky had a Blessed Event! Yeehaw!
Oh, and I came late to the snake discussion, but I know from Actual Experience that I'd grab a camera and start snapping away. In my case it was a teensy garter snake on the sidewalk on my Somerville street, but the principle is the same.
(Possibly, I'd check E-Bay to see if there's a thriving trade in ginormous black rat snakes, because if that there snake is money on the hoof (so to speak) I'd be tempted.)
Yay Sparky! Yay Family Fras!
Congrats Sparky and Welcome Babyfras!
In other news? Noah is on day three of no sleep. He has canker sores in his mouth, akin to the ones I got as a kid (example of bad genetics). So he wakes up every 45 minutes or so crying. Which means I wake up too. And I too have had no more than sips of sleep for 3 days. I want to cry so badly.
Grace has made a trip to the PICU last night (including kicking someone out of the only single room in the ER at Huntington) at 11:00 PM. She has pneumonia on top of her rotovirus. Poor boo.
The universe needs to back the fuck off.
Oh Kat, that's way too much on your plate.
Oh jeez, Kat. Poor baby boos and poor you.
Poor kidlets and Kat! I hope y'all get better and get sleep.
Congratulations to Sparky and Husband on the arrival of the Babyfras! Wonderful, excellent news.
Welcome Babyfras! Congrats on landing in such a great family!

Ugh, Kat. I hope the universe does back the fuck off, and soon.
Snakes are cool.
If it had been a large spider, there may be firearms involved and a trip to the people who sell new glass and door frames and door handles.
And it seems I am Connie. The positioning of the thing would have startled me, but if it's not a poisonous one, I rather enjoy handling snakes (the poisonous ones are cool to, I just prefer to give them a wide bearth). Amazingly soft skin to the touch.
Oh, also congrats to Sparky and the family!
Poor you, Kat! And poor kids, of course, but they won't remember this and you will!
