Maybe it's kind of...hard to say. Like, he doesn't have words for it yet. I felt weird about my chair for a long time before I could explain it. Sometimes I said that people picked on me for it, but they left me out more. But I hope he can start to say what's on his mind soon, msbelle.

Happy Birthday Vortex!
Happy birthday, Vortex! You share your b-day with my dad.
I gave him the Stagecoach dvd he had asked for, and sure enough, it had a big scratch on it. Time to replace it and give it back to him, most likely on Father's Day.
Happy Birthday Vortex!
We have survived monster v. Aliens.
Happy Birthday, Vortex!
Happy Birthday, Vortex.
If anyone's still in need, I have dreamwidth invites.
(also, my phone has learned to spell "dreamwidth".)
Happy birthday, Vortex!
Finished the season of The Professionals. Good stuff, and you're right about the theme music, bt. Catchy as all hell.
I hadn't noticed how louche it was when I saw it the first time round, in the 80s. Or maybe it was tamed down by the time I got to it. But those two boys are playa playas.
And I was surprised at how many interracial pairings there were. Two black man/white woman and one (Bodie) white man/black woman. And one of those was a successful marriage (Bodie's was a random hookup in the episode where he gets over his racism, and in the other the black guy tries to kill his paramour). A fair amount of racial stuff therein, including an episode about the Klan, which surprised me, because I hadn't thought of them being British symbology.
Huh. Opera's spellchecker doesn't know "symbology." Or "spellchecker." Or "louche."
Don't know what to watch next. I have Tenko, unwatched, but that's a little heavy for my mood. Still have that goose egg headache.
Making bread. Can't wait.
Astronaut Massimino removed the handrail by manually pulling it out of place.
Fancy way of saying he broke it off.
So I went to the grand opening of the new hardware store and got a hose and a/c extension cords and a free reusable bag and coupons. I call that a win. It's in a cute building.
Then I got lost in SE Baltimore.
I had directions, I did. But it gets weird out there. And while I know the west side really well, east side? NSM. It was annoying, though interesting and I did eventually get my bearings. Trip was a bust though. Back at xmas, my brother asked me if I wante a Garmin, and I was all "no,, I know my way around B'more pretty well." Hah.
Then I came back and hung pictures in my bedroom and a few things in the LR & DR. Not the curio shelves yet. I think I need to get a concrete-worthy drill bit because HOLY FUCK these walls are hard. Already chipped the plaster, sigh.
